This project prioritizes views of Flathead Lake from every room, with standout features including a rooftop deck with a kitchen and an interior inspired by Japanese minimalist design, highlighted by a Japanese soaking tub and a luxurious primary suite. Shou Sugi Bon played a key role in realizing this elemental design.

Firebrand
A hotel ahead of its time, blazing a trail for the small mountain town of Whitefish. Giving the community a central hub that it didn’t know it needed, a space downtown where people could stay and walk to local shops and restaurants. The Firebrand was a game-changer, breathing new life into the town and creating a buzz that still resonates today. But don't be fooled by the rustic exterior - the interior is a whole different story. The steel and industrial beam style furniture complements the "stump town" moniker, but there's also a funky, bohemian vibe that creates a welcoming format. It's industrious and eclectic, a space that's as comfortable as it is cool.
